Start Swimming Pool Construction and Maintenance Business in Mississauga

Start Swimming Pool Construction and Maintenance Business in Mississauga: Your backyard will overtake employees and swimming pool construction equipment. Your backyard has now become a construction site and by the end of the process, the same will appear when your dream becomes a reality.

There are many moving parts of this process and many times we can wait on city inspections, weather, or other scheduling before continuing the work. Please be patient and understand that this is not the journey but the result.

Please ask your project manager or sales consultant any questions through this process.

Phase 1 – Permits, Engineering PLANS and HOA

We will obtain a permit for the construction of the pool. All plans must comply with country, local, and HOA construction requirements. The homeowner is required to obtain HOA approval unless otherwise agreed.

Keep in mind that some HOAs meet once or twice a month to approve submissions to delay the start of your pool.

Phase 2 – Loan

A representative of PV Pool will come to your house and get the pool approved by your sales consultant. This layout will indicate the size, shape, and location of your pool for the digging team in your yard.

Phase 3 – Removal

The excavation team will come up with some heavy equipment within a few days and excavate the pool for engineering plans. We will push any ornamental rock to gain access to the excavation area, but unless the agreement province that you will be responsible for re-spreading the rock.

We cannot be responsible for any ornamental rock, landscaping, or irrigation from the front of your house to the excavation site. You will need to repair irrigation, replace plants, and purchase additional ornamental rocks from the front of the house to the excavation site.

The term “hard digging” is used when soil conditions require the crew to remove the bucket from the excavator and replace it with a ripper attachment. This ripper attachment can break up hard soil but is very timely so digging will be overloading.

The amount depends on the size of your pool, the depth of hardened soil, and the type of hardness. We will dig a test hole at the beginning of the dig and at that point will be able to determine if you have a hard dig and will be given an overload. We will do everything we can to avoid any digging surcharges.

Phase 4 – Plumbing & Tool Set

Plumbing is specifically designed for each pool so that it provides the best circulation and filtration for crystal clear water and ease of maintenance. An experienced plumber will dive into all filtration equipment for the pool, including water pumps and other optional equipment.

Phase 5 – Structural Steel

Structural steel is a steel reinforcement structure for your pool shell that empowers it according to engineering plans. It consists of a series of bars engineered specifically for your pool design requirements horizontally and vertically. The shell of your new pool provides life for the original homeowner from any cracks or defects.

Phase 6 – Electricity and Gas

Our master electrician will dig and install an electrical drain/wire from the main electrical box of the house to all other places specified on the equipment and plan. If a gas heater or BBQ is used, gas lines will be run from the main gas meter in front of the house to designated appliances.

Upon final city inspection, the homeowner should contact the SRP and connect the gas line to the main meter. Only homeowners can call to schedule this appointment and the appointment will require home use. This is a free service from SRP and they will install a large meter to accommodate your usage.

Phase 7 – City Electrical Inspection

Upon completion of the electric phase, we are required to inspect the city before proceeding. This is the first of two city inspections and depends on the city and the time of year maybe a few days.

Phase 8 – SHOTCRETE

Shotcrete is solid that shoots through a high-pressure hose as the shell of its new pool. Upon completion, the homeowner must pour water slowly 3-4 times per day to fix the concrete.

After this, we have to wait for another 5-7 days, so that we can start the next step so that the concrete can recover properly.

Phase 9 – Tile / Copy / Water Features

In this phase, we will install waterline tiles, pool edges, and any water features like waterfalls, water shears, rain descending, deck jet, lamina, etc.

Phase 10 – Decision

Concrete can be coated with a texture such as a pool deck, stamped, acid wash, or many other options. Pavers have become the most desirable due to their beauty, longevity, and maintenance-free. The powers come in brick pavers, concrete pavers, and tumbled travertine. The number of square feet of the decking will determine how many days will be required.

Phase 11 – Stay Out

This phase includes the construction of outdoor living facilities such as kitchen / BBQ, fireplace, seating area, Ramdas, pergolas, etc.

By creating structures that accommodate the way you live your life, your backyard can be enjoyed and used 365 days a year. The complexity of your project will determine the amount of time required to complete this phase.

Phase 12 – Final City Inspection

We should call in the final city inspection before applying the pool surface. The homeowner will need the home for this inspection as the inspector will need access to the home. He will need to verify that all the constraint codes have been found in the pool area.

Phase 13 – Final Plan

At this point, the project is about to be completed. We will now remove all exterior construction materials and waste from the construction site and prepare the interior of the pool. Before finalizing Final Plan, you should deeply take the knowledge about Swimming Pool Construction and Maintenance Business in Mississauga.

Phase 14 – Pool Area

Your pool project is almost complete. The most popular finish is Pebbletech which is a finish that comes out of the high-pressure hose and comes in various colors. After applying the finish we need 24 hours to recover before coming back and washing the acid. Once we wash the acid, we start filling the pool with water.

Phase 15 – Filling and Start-up

Kids are probably ready to jump in it now! A little patience will be required as our employees start all the equipment and start balancing the water chemistry.

Our start-up crew has to move the water as fast as the pool can fill up quickly so that you can start enjoying your new pool. A technician will schedule a convenient time with all the equipment and care instructions.
